How many “kind” people will I meet in this wonderful world from now?
“I” is subjectivity forever
When I read the chapter of "THE IDEALIZATION OF DISIDENTIFICATION" in this book, I shouted “Oh, great!!”
Why did I shout? That is because some paragraphs in the chapter were very insightful for me. “I (self)” is always, always, always subjectivity, so “I” is never objectified. In the past, I have regarded “I” as feelings, experiences or thoughts. Instead, “I” is subjectivity forever and ever. Thinking about this, I remembered the idea of “emptiness” in Buddhism.
Masculinities and Well-Being workshop
Yesterday, I joined a group psychotherapy workshop at JFKU Berkeley campus. This was first time for me to experience group psychotherapy and to go to JFKU Berkeley campus. I thought that a group psychotherapy had wonderful power to transform ourselves.

Various “me”: Subpersonality
Have you ever noticed that you behave differently in your office, at home, in social interplay, in solitude, at church, or as a member of a political party? – Roberto Assagioli
Yes, I have wondered why I behave differently in accordance with various situations. I’ve been curious about this thing. However, I’ve been worried about various “me.” I didn’t know who is a real “me”. Yeah, I noticed that all are real “me.” Various subpersonalities exist in each of us. My text book I’m reading now says “Subpersonalities are normal.” I’m relieved to read that because I’m not crazy but normal.

Remember how I acquired my native language!
While I was taking a shower today, I was mumbling to myself “Remember how I acquired my native language. Remember how I acquired my native language…” again and again. If I find the way I acquired Japanese language, the process will be applicable to English. Dating back to my babyhood, at first I didn’t learn Japanese from “letter or character.” Yeah, I learned it through verbal communication with my parents. Of course, it is important to read a book in order to study in the academic world but firstly I have to install “English” software into my brain by talking or listening. Now, I think that I need to change my brain OS (Operating System) from Japanese to English. I want to believe that my brain is like a high quality computer, haha.
